Montessori Children's House is proud to be an American Montessori Society Verified Preschool. Verification is a voluntary process ensuring that we are truly a Montessori preschool with fully stocked Montessori materials and appropriately trained staff to implement the curriculum and philosophy.
Montessori Children's House is also State Licensed and Accredited by the City of Madison. City Accreditation is a voluntary program that provides yearly comprehensive assessment of program quality. Ours was one of the first programs in the City of Madison to be accredited, and we've been continuously accredited since the 1970's.
Montessori Children's House is currently working to support 3 Mariposas Montessori (3MM), a school in the Dominican Republic. 3MM provides a bilingual Montessori education in an area where early childhood education would otherwise not be available for the majority of families. The students represent a wide range of nationalities and cultures. Seventy percent of the children who attend 3MM do so on full scholarship.
