Montessori Children's House mostly follows the Madison public schools' calendar, during the school year. Currently enrolled families have the option to sign up for the summer program for any or all of the weeks offered. If you have a summer vacation planned, you do not need to sign up and pay for that time. No 12-month contracts here! Montessori Children's House has always been a Montessori Preschool first and we've added summer and before/after school care, as needs have changed. You will receive a calendar at your tour but here are some common closures to expect:

• The week of July 4th

• The last week of August

• Labor Day

• Fall Break (usually Wednesday through Friday)

• Weather related closures such as snow/windchill/ice days

• Winter Break (usually 2 weeks)

• Spring Break (one week)

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day

• Memorial Day
